Alumni in Action – Jakye Nunley
Jakye Nunley, a 2023 graduate of Eaglecrest High School, has always made the most of the opportunities available to him. "I’m a firm believer that I’m going to give myself everything that life has to offer for me," he said.

Alumni in Action: Frank Swann
Frank Swann, a 2011 graduate of Cherry Creek High School, is the epitome of preparation meeting opportunity. This lifelong learner demonstrated dedication and determination throughout his time in Cherry Creek Schools and at New York University, so he was ready when opportunity came knocking with an invitation to start his career in theater production on one of the biggest shows on Broadway.

Alumni in Action: Wendy Merchant
An art class at Overland High School sparked an interest in architecture, which ultimately led Wendy Merchant to a successful career in architectural engineering. But when she later discovered how few women were pursuing careers in engineering and other STEM fields, she founded STEMblazers and dedicated her time and talents to inspiring girls and young women to see themselves in STEM.

Alumni in Action: Jake Eskanos
Jake Eskanos, a 2006 graduate of Cherry Creek High School, is a man of many talents. He works in cybersecurity, has a degree in communications, is a lifelong music lover, and grew up as a self-described kitchen "tinkerer." During the COVID-19 pandemic, he turned that tinkering into a successful side business called Jake's Sweet Bakes.

1994 Cherry Creek High School graduate Jason Wesoky is an experienced litigator and appellate attorney who credits the academics and athletics at CCHS with helping him succeed in a demanding career, while pursuing passions from taekwondo to car racing.
