Giveback Cherry Creek Volunteer Program

  • What is it?

    A program to engage community members by matching their skills and experience to meet the needs of our neighborhood schools.

    Opportunities include: 

    • Literacy & Reading Instruction
    • English as a Second Language (ESL)

    • Tutoring

    • Recess & Lunch Duty

    Why do we need you?

    • Our schools have a need for trained volunteers to ensure each and every student is engaged and supported to help maintain our legacy of excellence.
    • Involvement of multiple generations in various volunteer opportunities in our schools makes a difference in our students’ educational journeys.
    • Trained classroom volunteers allow teachers to provide more differentiated instruction, which tailors lessons to each learner’s needs.
    • The diverse talents and varied life experiences of adults in our communities will enrich our students' learning.

    Please contact us by email or phone if you are interested in volunteering in our schools.

    If you are 60 years of age or older, and a homeowner who resides in your property within the Cherry Creek School District, you are also eligible for the Senior Citizen Tax Offset Program. Visit our Parent and Community Involvement web page for more information.
