More than 70 students from high school trades programs across the Denver metro area put their skills to the test at the regional SkillsUSA Competition.

The expansion project will serve 70% more 10-12th grade students from across the district. The $100 million expansion is the result of the $950 million bond measure supported by the local community in the November 2024 election.

The Colorado School of Mines Formula SAE team visited the Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC) to inspire students through hands-on engineering and teamwork. The visit highlighted the impact of CCIC’s Career and Technical Education programs in preparing students for diverse pathways to success in college and industry.

The CCIC offers seven in demand and growing career Pathways. Curriculum for each Pathway is rooted in real-world skills, with a focus on putting learners in an industry-based culture and climate.
Courses in each Pathway are designed to be successful by building upon the professional skills and knowledge gained in prerequisite courses.
The Pathways are:
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Business Services
- Health & Wellness
- Hospitality & Tourism
- Infrastructure Engineering
- IT & STEAM
- Transportation
CTE Future Educator courses also meet at the CCIC.
