    Parent Exemption from State Assessments

Parents may excuse a student from taking one or more state assessments by completing the "Parent Exemption from State Assessments" form online in the parent portal of my.cherrycreek.org. Parents are asked to complete this form as early as possible so that the school can take into account the exemptions as part of their assessment administration schedule. Parents should refer to their school's assessment schedule for more detailed information.

    2018 District Assessment Calendar

The 2018 District Assessment Calendar provides parents with additional information regarding assessments that are administered to all students in the district. These changes include specific information regarding: (1) the assessments that will be administered; (2) the estimated hours of testing and whether assessments are required by federal or state law or selected by the district; and (3) the purpose of the assessments and how the assessment results will be used.

The Office of Assessment & Evaluation works with school administration to develop testing schedules for district-level supported assessments. Some of the assessments have a specific date of testing while others have a window in which schools can select test dates. For exact testing dates for your school, please contact the school directly.
