The Office of Language Supports and Services has cultural liaisons and interpreters on staff who support students and families in a number of ways.

Their duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing interpretation services at school and district meetings and events
• Helping you get to know and communicate with your child’s teachers and the school principal
• Helping you get answers to your questions about school, district processes, and academic and cultural expectations of the school
• Organizing conferences with teachers to discuss behavior or attendance matters, special education, academics, or other questions you may have
