Mrs. Bowens

Dear Timberwolf Family,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! "Every Timberwolf, Every Day" is our theme for this year.  It reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where each student's unique needs and potential are recognized and nurtured daily. We will ensure that every student receives the attention, resources, and encouragement needed to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Timberline, we aim to embrace, engage, and empower all students to learn, grow, and achieve. Our dedicated classroom teachers work daily to provide your child(ren) with standards-based lessons. Every day, your child will participate in one of our Integrated Arts programs, including Art, Music, or PE. Additionally, we offer special services such as SPED, Neurodiverse Students programs, English Language support, Reading and Math Intervention, and Mental Health Services.

Partnering with you is essential to your child's success. We support this partnership through monthly newsletters, weekly classroom updates, and conferences. There are many ways to be involved in your child’s education. Joining PTCO, Accountability, PASS, or our Watch D.O.G.S organizations provides you with opportunities to engage with and get to know Timberline better.

This is my 28th year as an educator and 5th year as principal at Timberline. As a Colorado native, I cherish the beautiful mountains and blue skies we experience. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Stephen, is a 5th-grade teacher at Canyon Creek Elementary. We have two children: Matthew, a senior at Grand Canyon University, and Sydney, a sophomore at Pepperdine University. Our corgi, Princeton, brings us lots of love and entertainment. We love to travel, especially on cruises, painting, singing, and spending time with our extended family.

Please know that my door is always open, and I am excited about working with you.  I'm proud to call myself a Timberline Timberwolf and look forward to an outstanding school year!

Go Timberwolves,

Mrs. Bowens
