Spring is almost here, which we know can be a mixed bag as far as weather is concerned in Colorado. But that can’t hold us back because spring is an exciting time in a high school. We have A LOT coming up in the next few months. Here we go!
This week we are celebrating Dream Week. Please see the information in the Activities section of this Gazette to learn more about Matthew and the Dream our students are supporting. It’s always a fun week that has such an important purpose for our students and the entire community. We appreciate your support!
Congratulations to our winter athletes who have completed their seasons. Our cheer team and our band competed in the Game Day Live competition at Nationals in Orlando and took third place for the second year in a row. Equally as impressive, our wrestlers took third as a team at State; Grandview also has one state champion wrestler, and two runners-up about whom you can read more in the Athletics section. Good luck to our spring athletes who just started their official practices. We’re hoping for some beautiful spring weather to allow them to get outside and compete.
Our performing arts students just completed their 9th and 10th grade play, they have Improv shows coming up, and they will perform their spring play next month: Holes. Lots to see if you are in the market for some entertainment. And Congratulations to our Technology Students Association who went home with top marks in the league and third in the state competition!
Spring conferences will look different than they did this fall. Teachers will be calling home to conference with parents of students who may be struggling in their classes. You are always welcome to contact teachers if you are concerned about your student’s progress in class. We are all working toward the same goal of student success, and we appreciate your partnership.
Thank you for your work with your student to finalize course requests for the 2025-2026 school year.
Pre-registration is now complete. Our content coordinators, counselors, registrar, and administrators are working diligently to build a master schedule for next year based on students’ needs.
Enjoy the busy spring. Thank you for your continued support of the Grandview community.
At Grandview, we are One Pack! Go Wolves!
