Cherokee Band Parent Organization (CBPO)
Welcome to the Cherokee Trail Band Family!
Our parent organization, the CBPO, is the heart of our band program. It is dedicated to supporting students and the entire band community and helps create an enriching and inclusive experience for every student.
Making a Difference
The CBPO is committed to helping all students participate in the CT bands. In the 2023-2024 school year, the CBPO helped raise ~$35,000. With these funds, the band purchased a contrabass clarinet, baritone and soprano saxophone, tuba, and a specialty percussion instrument: the crotales. The CBPO funds also provided food and beverages for events throughout the year, such as band parties, pep bands, and outreach events with elementary and middle schools. This 2024-2025 school year, the CBPO has already raised 73% of its $35,000 fundraising goal. Due to these efforts, the band purchased a new drum set, crash cymbals, custom bass drum heads, a subwoofer, a guitar amp, a wireless instrument transmitter, and classroom and other supplies for the program. The CBPO also provided food and beverages for the beginning of the year band party, elementary and middle school outreach, pep band, and other events. The CBPO funds will also support students attending honor bands at the district and state levels.

-
Make a Donation

-
Share Your Skills
Are you good at organizing, photography, video editing, marketing, sewing, or networking with businesses for sponsorships or donations? Whatever your expertise, the CBPO would love your help!
Every bit of involvement helps the band, strengthens our community, and enhances your student’s experience. For more information, scan the QR code or email the CBPO at CTband03@gmail.com.
