The Colorado Department of Education has recognized our school for exceptional academic growth and achievement during the 2022-23 school year.

We are one of two Cherry Creek schools that received both the John Irwin School of Excellence Award and the Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award.

Schools that received the Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award earned an “exceeds expectations” rating on the Academic Growth indicator of the School Performance Frameworks, reflecting consistently high rates of student growth in English language arts, math, and English language proficiency. 

John Irwin Award schools received an “exceeds expectations” rating on the Academic Achievement indicator of the School Performance Frameworks, reflecting exceptional performance in math and English language arts.
