CCIC Open House
The Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC) is hosting an Open House on Thurs., April 4 between 5-7 p.m. Come explore this state-of-the-art facility, meet teachers, and learn about new courses being added next year. CCIC is a nationally recognized career and college focused campus that is open to all CCSD high school students in grades 10-12.
Inside Out registration is open!
The Inside Out summer enrichment program, sponsored by the Office of Gifted and Talented Services, offers students a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and effective communication skills. Inside Out offers half-day and full-day options for one or two weeks during June 2024. Register by April 22.

Portion of Jewell Ave. to be Named after Principal Buckner
Overland High School was not just a job for former principal John Buckner, it was his home. The City of Aurora will be renaming the street across from Overland High, East Jewell Avenue between South Peoria Street and South Potomac Street, to John W. Congratulations to Kate McDonnell who has been selected as a 2024 NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Colorado Educator Award Winner! The NCWIT Aspirations in Computing (AiC) Educator Award identifies and celebrates exemplary formal and informal educators who play a pivotal role in encouraging 9th-12th grade women, genderqueer, or non-binary students to explore their interest in computing and technology.
