Woodland's first ever art show features forest creatures
Woodland Elementary School was full of parents, guardians, and students for their first ever art show on April 6! Woodland art teacher, Ashley Pershing, believes that art shows should be an immersive experience. Considering this was Woodland’s first art show, she decided that woodland creatures in the forest would be the perfect, immersive theme to explore.

Young mathematicians shine in 22nd annual Rich Morrow Math Challenge
Nearly 300 third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade students demonstrated their mathematical acumen in individual, team, and relay rounds of competition.

Thanks to the generosity of students, staff, and families in the Cherry Creek School District, the winter holidays will be happier for many people in need. Administrators, teachers, students, parents, and community members celebrated the formal opening of Woodland Elementary, CCSD's newest elementary school, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony held Aug. 11.

Woodland Elementary students celebrate transition to new school
On May 23, almost 300 students gathered in the gym of Altitude Elementary for a special kind of celebration: preparing to move to their new school, Woodland Elementary.

Save the Date: Mill and Bond Feeder Presentations
On August 12, the CCSD Board of Education voted unanimously to put a mill and bond measure on the Nov. 5, 2024 ballot for CCSD residents. For both measures, residents would pay less than $3 a month for each $100,000 of property value. To provide factual information about the two measures, the district is hosting several presentations about the proposed investments in your community.

Join us Saturday, Oct. 5 to honor veterans and dedicated members of our military at our 14th annual celebration which includes a luncheon, community celebration and football game. A schedule of events is available.
